The Favero Assioma DUO Powermeter pedals will take your training to a higher level. These pedals offer very accurate power readings, easy swapping between bikes and you can use them with both round and oval chainrings!

The Favero Assioma DUO power meter pedals measure exactly how fast you turn while pedalling. This speed changes during pedalling and slows down as you move towards the vertical position, i.e. with the pedal up. Many other power meters see this speed as a constant, which is based on round chainrings. These other powermeters cannot be used with oval chainrings. As the Favero Assioma DUO powermeter pedals measure exactly how fast you pedal, it doesn't matter what kind of chainrings you have. The Favero Assioma DUO powermeter pedals can also be used with oval chainrings.

The Favero Assioma DUO Powermeter pedals measure the rotation speed while pedaling using its built-in gyroscope. The technique they use to measure this is called Favero IAV, or Instantaneous Angular Velocity. Thanks to this technique, the total power output, the left-right ratio and the effective pedal stroke can be determined very precisely when using these pedals.
